Shelton, CT – It was announced today that the former Electri-Cable building located at 10 Mountain View Drive in Shelton was sold. The purchaser was Shelton Winair which is presently located on River Road in Shelton. The building is 31,298 square feet and is situated on 5.16 acres. It sold for $3,050,000 or $97.45 per square foot.
Dekko purchased Electri-Cable Assemblies (ECA) in 2016. Dekko, a wholly owned subsidiary of Graham Holdings Company (NYSE: GHC), is a leading manufacturer of innovative power charging and data systems, lighting and electrical solutions to the North American market. The company relocated the Shelton company to Indiana.
According to David Black, former owner of the company, the ECA building was built in 1998 and was the first building in the new Ivy Brook development off Constitution Blvd. ECA’s founder, a long time Shelton resident, wanted to bring his company back to Shelton and jumped at the opportunity when the land became available. The business was purchased in 2006, and the building in 2010.
The purchaser, Shelton Winair is a division of Win Supply, a national wholesaler and distributor of Heating and Air Conditioning products.
