Monroe, CT – It was announced that A & B Mechanical Company has purchased the industrial property at 588 Pepper Street in Monroe. The company has relocated to the 12,800 square foot building from a leased property only a mile away. The building formerly housed the Proudfoot Company which is an industry leader in the acoustical correction and noise control industry. Proudfoot was recently sold and the property was placed on the market with the commercial real estate firm, Vidal/Wettenstein. Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR had the property under contract within a few weeks. “The market is severely limited on quality industrial product for sale.” Wettenstein said. This building was a perfect match for A & B Mechanical.
Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR was the listing broker for the property. Attorney Jack Cohane represented A & B Mechanical. Vidal/Wettenstein is a full service commercial real estate firm based in Westport.
